Our cafés are designed by an interior architect against a fixed material specification, permitted, and built out. A new Kanafani is not an improvised fit-out — it is a repeat of one we have already delivered.
Who we are looking for
Where
For the founding cohort, restaurant or hospitality operating experience is required. Hands-on experience is what makes the four-week training programme effective.
From signing the franchise agreement to grand opening, the typical timeline is 6–12 months, depending on site selection, lease negotiation and construction.
Yes. Founding franchisees hold a right of first refusal on one adjacent territory and first offer on any additional store inside their own territory.

Most dessert concepts live in a three-hour evening window. Ours does not, because the coffee programme carries the first half of the day and the sweets carry the second — a lit, occupied room from open to close.
Dessert is the destination: people drive across a city for it, they sit for forty minutes to an hour, and the Knafeh counter is theatre the whole room watches.
We build, supply and run the systems — so you run the café.
Site & build
Territory scouted, lease negotiated, and your café designed to our specification and built out under permit — a repeat of one we have already delivered.
Equipment & fit-out
Every machine, fridge and finish sourced and installed from one fixed material specification. Ready on day one.
Daily commissary
Fresh product from our central kitchen every morning. Your team handles the in-store finish — Knafeh to order, at the counter.
Technology
POS, kitchen display, online ordering, loyalty, payroll and analytics — built in-house, all included.
Marketing & launch
Brand, social, the launch campaign, a grand-opening field team, seasonal creative.
Training & support
A four-week intensive, an on-site opening team from two weeks before launch to two weeks after, quarterly audits, a direct line.
Operating experience
Restaurant or hospitality operating experience is required for the founding cohort.
Financial qualifications
Minimum $250K liquid capital, access to debt financing, and a strong credit profile.
Community connection
An appreciation for our story and craft — and a desire to root the brand in your community.
Hands-on leadership
Willingness to be actively involved in day-to-day operations.
Six founding-franchisee territories across the GTA and southwestern Ontario, with Brampton, Hamilton and York Region open now, and high-touch support from our leadership team.
Ottawa, Windsor and additional Ontario markets open to franchisees after the founding cohort is established; multi-province expansion follows as the system matures.
